When I was younger, I loved LA Gear tennis shoes. They were the shoes that light up when you took a step in them. Now, they are putting lights in more popular shoes, such as Air Jordans and Air Force Ones.
Earlier today, I read an article about a middle school student who was seriously injured after being hit by a car. The student was walking to his bus stop before sunrise. I thought this would be a great opportunity for creatively using an existing product for a new purpose. Light up shoes will help drivers see students when they are outside in the dark, and students will be fashionable with their light up shoes.
